Need to make a return? We’ve got your back!

NYY.news partners with MLB Shop to bring you official Yankees gear and collectibles. Most unused merchandise can be returned within 100 days of the item’s ship date, as long as it’s in original condition.

Standard Return Guidelines

Items must be unworn, unused, and have all original tags and labels attached.
Returns must be received within 100 days of the original ship date.
If items do not meet return eligibility, they will be donated to charity and no refund will be issued.

Exceptions

Some items fall under special return rules:

FINAL SALE: Items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned.
Customized Items: These are final sale and not eligible for return.
Hint: If your item includes a name, number, or specific player customization, it’s likely considered customized.
Manufacturer Direct Items: Must be returned within 30 days of the ship date.
These items typically ship separately and are labeled on the product page.
International Orders: Returns must be done manually.

Return Fee

A $9.99 flat return fee applies to most returns to cover shipping costs.
But good news: This fee is waived if you opt for a gift card refund instead of a credit card refund.

💡 Pro Tip: Use the return label we provide! Your refund is processed once the label is scanned at our warehouse.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or has another issue, additional exceptions may apply. Check out our FAQ under “What if my order did not arrive as I expected?” for help.

Returning multiple items?
No worries — only one return fee per order, not per item, even if your order ships back in multiple packages.

Holiday Return Extension

Purchasing for the holidays? We’ve extended our window!

Orders placed between November 15th and December 31st (excluding Manufacturer Direct Items) are eligible for return up to 150 days from the ship date.

Venue vs. Online Returns

Items purchased in-venue (like Yankee Stadium) must be returned to the venue.
Items purchased on nyy.news must be returned online through our portal.
