The 26th annual ESPY Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 (7/18/18). Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will be the host. The nominees for best male athlete are Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve, Houston Rockets guard James Harden, Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin, and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

This year’s ESPYs will be hosted by Danica Patrick, a former professional race car driver. She will be the first woman to host the ESPYs in the history of the ceremony. Former NFL star Peyton Manning hosted last year.
