MLB playoffs 2018: Boston Red Sox troll New York Yankees, Aaron Judge in ALDS Game 4 celebration (VIDEO)

The Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees, 4-3, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 (10/9/18) at Yankee Stadium to win the American League Division Series in four games. The Red Sox will face the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.

What goes around, comes around.

The Boston Red Sox, following their 4-3 win on Tuesday night to clinch the American League Division Series in four games, had some post-game fun at the expense of the Yankees.

You may remember that following New York’s 6-2 win in Game 2 on Saturday at Fenway Park, Aaron Judge blasted Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”

On Tuesday, the Red Sox flipped the script:

The Red Sox survived a furious ninth-inning rally by the Yankees to win Game 4 and move on to face the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.

It was Boston’s fourth straight playoff victory at Yankee Stadium, going back to the 2004 ALCS.

Tuesday was the second time in three weeks the Red Sox celebrated a clinching victory in the Bronx.

Boston secured the AL East Division title in New York back on September 20th.

The Red Sox led the majors with 108 wins in the regular season.

The Astros were second with 103 wins.

They now meet in the ALCS, which begins on Saturday at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass.

The Red Sox are making their 11th trip to the ALCS in franchise history and going for their fourth championship since 2004.

The Astros are the defending World Series champions. Last year, Houston needed seven games to beat the Yankees in the 2017 ALCS.

The winner of the upcoming Red Sox-Astros showdown will meet either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Milwaukee Brewers in the World Series.
