Right fielder Aaron Judge and catcher Gary Sanchez hit monster home runs to power the win over Red Sox left-hander David Price. Game 3 is Monday, October 8, 2018 (10/8/18) at Yankee Stadium.

The Boston Globe’s Nick Cafardo reports Yankees bench coach Josh Bard will be in demand for one of the several open managerial positions in MLB:

Josh Bard, bench coach, Yankees — Bard is being talked about among the next wave of young bench coaches, heavy into analytics of course, who could be considered for future managing jobs. Being Aaron Boone’s top adviser and helping to mold a 100-win team certainly doesn’t hurt.

A new job will have to wait for the time being.

Bard and the Yankees are in the midst of the American League Division Series against the Boston Red Sox.

The Yankees won Game 2 on Saturday at Fenway Park, 6-2, to even the series at one game apiece.

New York’s win was powered by monster home runs by Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez.
