The 2018 Major League Baseball trade deadline will arrive at 4 p.m. EST on July 31. That gives contenders (and sellers) time between now and then to load up for a stretch run and a pennant race, or tear down for a better tomorrow. Already, Manny Machado has been traded from the Orioles to the Dodgers, Brad Hand from the Padres to the Indians and Jesse Chavez from the Rangers to the Cubs. What’s next? Will the Yankees make a splash for a starting pitcher? Will the Mets sell high on Jacob deGrom? Where will the Phillies turn after missing out on the Machado sweepstakes? Here’s a look at every major trade to go down as the deadline approaches.
