You can forget The Yankees hitting the Free Agent market to improve on pitching. As The Yankees can barely afford to re-sign DJ LeMahieu.

The Yankees in recent years have been reluctant on trading top prospects. Other than the horrible trade they made for Sonny Gray in 2017.

With both Yankees fan favorites Blake Snell out of the picture and Trevor Bauer out of reach.

The best pitcher available via Trade is Luis Castillo of The Reds.

“Trade Market” the route I believe The Yankees will take this off-season.

Who is Luis Castillo? He’s been on The Yankees radar for over a year now.

Luis Castillo could be a #1 on many teams starting rotation. But would be #2 on The Yankees, behind Gerrit Cole.

He is a good looking athletic uncommitted catcher to keep an eye on.
