NEW YORK — Watch the video above, in which Red Sox fans celebrate like crazy following Boston’s 11-6 win over the Yankees that clinched the American League East title at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night.

Here are Yankees things to know, via the team’s media relations department:

* The Yankees were eliminated from the AL East division race...fell to 3-3 on their final regular season homestand…are still 18-13 in their last 31G and 25-17 in 42G since 8/6 … lead Oakland by 1.5G for the first AL Wild Card spot.

* They’re 7-9 vs. the Red Sox this season, including 6-3 at Yankee Stadium … needed to sweep this series to prevent the Red Sox from clinching the AL East during the series.

* The Yankees drew their 23rd home sellout, extending their single-season record for the current Yankee Stadium…their 47,351 attendance was their highest at Yankee Stadium this season.

* Marked the Yankees’ longest nine-inning game of the season, their first nine-inning game to reach four hours since 8/24/17 at Detroit (4:13)…was the longest nine-inning game at Yankee Stadium since a 22-9 win on 8/25/11 vs. Oakland (4:31).

* In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Ralph Lauren company, Bronx native and lifelong Yankees fan Ralph Lauren was celebrated in a pregame home plate ceremony and threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

* Luke Voit‘s second-inning two-run HR was the 246th HR by the Yankees this season, which set a new single-season franchise home run record (previously 245HR in 2012)…their 2HR tonight give them 247HR, the seventh-highest single-season HR total in Major League history, trailing only the 1997 Mariners (264HR), 2005 Rangers (260HR), 2010 Blue Jays (257HR), 1996 Orioles (257HR), 2016 Orioles (253HR) and 2000 Astros (249HR).
