BALTIMORE — Don’t freak out.

Gary Sanchez isn’t considering a position change. He’ll be the Yankees‘ catcher for the foreseeable future — even if you can’t stand how many passed balls he racks up.

But because Sanchez was scheduled to sit out Thursday’s game against the Orioles at Camden Yards, the 25-year-old chose a different way to warm up:

He took a bunch of grounders at third base behind starter Miguel Andujar.

It’s not the first time Sanchez has taken pre-game grounders at third, but we thought you’d find it interesting, so we recorded it. Watch it above.

For the record: Sanchez has played only one other defensive position professionally — first base — for a grand total of 13 innings. He played there in two games last season.
