Every Red Sox and Yankee fan remembers were they were on October 2, 1978, when Bucky Dent hit a dramatic home run in the one-game AL East tie-breaker between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. Bellow are reminiscences of some players, fans and journalists. And one memory from a player who had his own “Bucky Dent Moment” 40 years later.

He is a good looking athletic uncommitted catcher to keep an eye on.
