The team was stuck — again — at an airport Wednesday night, according to Newsday’s Erik Boland.

The Yankees’ Delta charter experienced several issues and the team was forced to stay at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport until about 5:30 a.m. Eastern Time, the report said.

The plane had left without incident but had to return shortly after departure due to a mechanical issue, and with no clear idea of when it would be ready to take off again, some players and staff members were taken to a nearby hotel, the report said.

They were quickly brought back to the airport when the parts needed for the repairs arrived soon after, the report said.

The fiasco followed last week’s travel woes.

The Yankees were forced to spend 15 hours at a terminal in Dulles Airport in Virginia when they had problems with their plane and couldn’t find a hotel with enough rooms for the team.

Weather problems also contributed to that situation. The Yankees had been rained out twice while visiting the Nationals in Washington, D.C..

The Yankees fell to the Rangers, 12-10, on Wednesday night

The Yankees will start a three-game series with the Angels on Friday night at Yankee Stadium. According to the National Weather Service, it might rain late Saturday afternoon and throughout the day Sunday.

The Yankees were off Thursday and won’t be off again until June 11.
