Yankees show Jacoby Ellsbury some love, comment on future, social media attacks

Yankees center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury had season-ending hip surgery Monday, August 6, 2018 (8/6/18) in New York, meaning he will miss the entire 2018 season. Ellsbury is making $21.14 million in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He has a $21 million option for 2021 with a $5 million buyout.
