MLB admits it botched controversial Yankees-Dodgers call

SEATTLE — The Yankees were informed by MLB that plate umpire Gabe Morales shouldn’t have granted the Dodgers time in the ninth inning of last Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Dodger Stadium.
